Olive + Gold Market is looking for a reliable, friendly helper to assist with hosting and running craft markets at various venues across Manitoba.
This role is perfect for someone who loves local markets, enjoys working with people, and thrives in an organized but creative environment.
Role Overview
As a Market Helper, you’ll support the smooth setup, operation, and takedown of Olive + Gold Market events. You’ll work closely with the market organizer, vendors, and venue staff to ensure a welcoming and well-run experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with vendor setup and teardown
- Help coordinate load-in and vendor check-in
- Answer vendor and customer questions during the event
- Support overall market flow and organization
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming market space
- Assist with signage, layouts, and light troubleshooting
- Represent Olive + Gold Market professionally and warmly
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, approachable, and dependable
- Comfortable communicating with vendors and the public
- Organized and able to take direction
- Able to be on your feet for several hours
- Available on weekends and occasional evenings
- Previous market, event, or customer service experience is an asset (but not required)
