Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in office administration, particularly in a dental setting. This role involves managing various administrative tasks and providing support to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
Duties:
- Oversee and coordinate office operations and procedures
- Manage phone systems and handle incoming calls
- Perform administrative tasks such as dental claims billing, filing, and document preparation
- Attend to front desk duties including greeting patients and scheduling appointments
- Utilize electronic dental records systems efficiently
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Handle inquiries from patients and staff in a professional manner
- Familiarity with dental terminology and dental receptionist duties is a plus
- Experience with Opendental software is advantageous
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Dental Administrator or a similar role
- Knowledge of office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with OpenDental is an asset
- Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
