About the Opportunity
The Flock Mixed Martial Arts Academy is Leaside’s only MMA Gym offering training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling, MMA & Personal Training.
We are seeking a professional, motivated, and client-focused Independent Massage Therapist to operate within our martial arts and fitness facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed therapist looking to build and/or expand their own clientele while benefiting from consistent exposure to active gym members, athletes, and wellness-focused clients. We will also advertise and feed clientele as they come.
Our facility serves martial artists, fitness enthusiasts, and individuals seeking recovery, mobility, and performance support. This is a great opportunity to bring existing patients, service our amazing membership base as well as expand your network and grow!
Responsibilities
- Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to client needs
- Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes
- Create a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment
- Manage personal scheduling, bookings, and payments independently
- Promote services to gym members and external clients
- Collaborate professionally with gym staff and trainers as appropriate
Ideal Candidate
- Registered/Licensed Massage Therapist in good standing with CMTO ( College of massage therapists)
- Professional liability insurance required
- Experience with sports massage, deep tissue, stretch therapy, athletic recovery, mobility, recovery, or rehabilitation techniques is considered an asset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset
- Comfortable working independently within a shared fitness environment
- Certification as a fitness trainer is considered an asset, but not required
