Job Title: HR Generalist
Reporting To: Group HR Manager
Location: Edmonton or Calgary
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm.

This role will play a vital part in supporting the recruitment and human resources functions across multiple sites while maintaining close collaboration with our headquarters.
Key Activities:
- Absence Management
- Recruitment & Selection
- Employee Onboarding
- Obtaining new starter information
- Health Insurance Documentation
- Training and Development.

The Requirements:
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar HR role, with a strong working knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR practices.
- Relevant Human Resources qualification, diploma or degree, recognised in Canada or an equivalent international qualification.
- Customer-driven with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Highly commercial, organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage own workload.
- Good level of data entry and proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Motivated and deadline-driven, with keen attention to detail.
- Flexibility and willingness to work additional hours during busy auction periods.
- Reliable, with a desire to exceed expectations.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience or knowledge across multiple Canadian provincial jurisdictions.
- Previous HR experience within a multi-site or international organisation.
