Ranger Tire is looking for a reliable Pickup and Delivery Driver to deliver tires to customers throughout the local area.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily pickup and delivery routes safely and efficiently
- Load and unload passenger, light truck, commercial and specialty tires
- Verify orders and obtain delivery confirmations
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork
- Provide professional and friendly customer service
- Inspect the delivery vehicle and report maintenance concerns
- Keep the vehicle and warehouse loading areas clean and organized
- Assist in the warehouse when required
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driving abstract
- Previous delivery or route-driving experience is an asset
- Comfortable lifting and moving tires throughout the day
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual and able to work independently
- Able to safely operate delivery vehicles in different road and weather conditions
- Forklift experience is an asset
