We have an immediate opening for a Internal Supply Chain Coordinator in our Head Office. This position is responsible for the Purchasing of product from our China factory, managing the PO status, and supporting the communication in both directions. The ideal candidate must have experience in a similar position and have a professional manner with the ability to deal with a diverse group of people.

Responsibilities:
Create purchase orders for key components as suggested by APS
Prioritize and expedite orders from Wuxi
Receive loading plans from China Plants, upload to Syteline
Update master spreadsheet with notes and enter notes into Syteline
Monitor Syteline purchase order status and investigate and communicate with appropriate area when discrepancies exist
Ensure invoices have been given to AP for payment after payment has been received
Support the translation of communication as requested
Process claims for deficient products
Prepare all necessary documentation for customs clearance & receiving in Canada for all inbound freight from Wuxi
Support QC with SCAR and CAR communication
Support the purchasing department with Asian suppliers as requested
Maintain work instructions and process mapping as required by improvement and alignment projects

Education:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
Some post-secondary education in customs/export
Experience

2 – 3 years in experience in Import/Export
Intermediate level skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
Previous experience with ERP software (Syteline) an asset
Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
