Our Little Bike Shop is looking to add another technician to our team. Our shop is heated in cold weather and cooled in warm weather. Applicants should be dependable, have a desire to work, reliable transportation daily and reside within a commutable distance from the shop.
Position can start as part time, leading to full time based upon skills demonstrated while on the job and successful completion of probation period. Starting wage is based on experience and capability of applicant. Shop hours are 830AM to 5PM Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday morning.
Duties
-Assemble/PDI new powersport and small engine equipment (ATVs, dirtbikes, chainsaws, trimmers, generators, etc).
- Interact with customers as needed
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects
Experience
- Priority will be guven to individuals with previous experience in a similar role, such as a small engine/powersports mechanic
- Knowledge of/experience with small engine/powersports repair
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
