As a Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our clients. Your role will also involve assisting with front desk operations and contributing to retail sales through effective upselling techniques.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to clients' preferences.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures at the front desk.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer professional advice on hair care products and services.
- Promote retail products to clients, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance their experience and satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with informed recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive work environment and seamless client experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Experience in front desk operations is a plus, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Knowledge of retail sales practices, particularly in upselling beauty products.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the salon environment.
- A valid cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
- Passion for the beauty industry and a desire to continuously learn and grow professionally.
- Have been in the beauty industry for 4+ years.
