The Opportunity
You will join an "all-star" team dedicated to transforming community pharmacy. Key Professional Responsibilities
- Full-Scope Consultation: Provide expert counseling on medication therapy, drug interactions, and chronic disease management.
- Clinical Excellence: Lead professional services including MedsChecks, minor ailment consultations, and vaccination programs.
- Interprofessional Collaboration: Work alongside local physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a high-performing team of Registered Technicians and support staff.
- Community Advocacy: Drive health promotion and wellness initiatives within the Peterborough community.
Candidate Requirements
- Licensure: Current OCP Pharmacy License (Part A) in good standing.
- Experience: 1+ years of pharmacy experience is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn and a "patient-first" mindset are the top priorities.
- Core Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, sharp attention to detail, and a collaborative team-player attitude.
- Reliability: A professional work ethic and a commitment to maintaining the high standards of an independent health centre.
