Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a 310S certificate and have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with mechanical backgrounds to apply their expertise and contribute to providing exceptional customer service. AThe position involves performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance standards using a variety of tools and techniques. Rate of pay is negotiable
Duties
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and assembly tasks
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs or replacements
- Assist with the installation of parts and components, including heavy lifting when required
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams for accurate repairs
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and addressing customer questions
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic; experience is highly required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive systems and diagnostics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake work, and fluid services
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a busy shop environment

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
