Reports to: LBM Inventory Manager
Overview of Position:
The Lumberyard Cycle Counter's job is to accurately count all items kept in our lumberyard and warehouse. The Lumberyard Cycle Counter will also be trained in
Inventory receiving, special order receiving, and other inventory related tasks as assigned.
Tasks Performed by Lumberyard Cycle Counter:
- Tidy area to be counted
- Accurately count stock and special orders
- Check variance reports
- Do spot checks as directed by LBM Inventory Manager
- Help receive stock and special orders
- Some counting on the retail floor as required
- Other tasks as assigned by LBM Inventory Manager
Other:
Familiarity of building materials is an asset
Must be comfortable using computers
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Majority of job is done in our unheated warehouse and lumberyard. Must be OK working in Hot/Cold weather.
Must wear hi-vis safety vest when in lumberyard/warehouse, & Steel toe boots
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8-430
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
