About Level Up Music School
Level Up Music School is one of Midtown Toronto’s most vibrant and fast-growing music communities. We’re currently seeking a dedicated Drums Teacher to join our team starting part-time (2–3 days/week), with a clear path to build toward full-time as your roster fills. You’ll guide students of all ages and levels to discover the joy of rhythm, groove, musicianship, and performance. From their first beat to the stage.

What You’ll Bring
- Proven teaching experience: You’ve taught drums consistently (privately or at a school), and you know how to keep students inspired and accountable.
- Strong stylistic versatility: You’re comfortable teaching modern drum styles such as Rock, Pop, Funk, Blues, R&B, Soul, and basic Jazz. Bonus if you can also teach creativity & improvisation.
- Performance coaching: We run concerts, open mics, workshops, and student performance opportunities year-round. You understand how to prepare students for the stage with confidence, structure, and musical awareness.
- A student-first mindset: You can work with kids, teens, and adults, adapting your approach based on age, personality, goals, attention span, and learning style.
- A collaborative mindset: You work well with colleagues, respect structure, and contribute positively to a shared teaching environment.
- Reliability and integrity: This role carries real responsibility. Students and families rely on your consistency, professionalism, preparation, and communication.
- Focus on long-term student growth + retention: You take pride in keeping students engaged, motivated, and excited to return each week.
Schedule & Growth
- Our school operates Monday to Friday (11:00 am–9:00 pm) and Saturdays (10:00 am–3:00 pm), with Sundays off.
- We’ll work with you to create a schedule that fits both your availability and student demand.
