Manager in Training to join our client's retail operations team in Mississauga, ON. This is a hands-on leadership role designed for an individual who is ready to wear multiple hats, lead by example, and ensure smooth day-to-day store operations.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, tech-savvy, highly organized, and calm under pressure, with a strong willingness to step up and support all aspects of the business.
- Pay Rate: $60,000 - $75,000/year (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations including facilities, cleanliness, inventory, and security systems; report issues as needed
- Manage inventory levels, organize stock, place orders, and implement theft reduction strategies
- Support sales growth through merchandising, promotions, and maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships
- Create and manage staff schedules, support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with company policies including health & safety and workplace standards
- Maintain store systems (POS, internet, security) and troubleshoot issues
- Handle daily financial activities including cash management, reporting, and deposits
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5-7 years of retail management experience

Previous experience managing teams (multi-location experience an asset)

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Tech-savvy with experience in POS and retail systems

Valid driver's license
