Looking to add to our great Team, JF Fabrics is immediately seeking an energetic and skilled
INVENTORY COORDINATOR
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Backorders & Delivery Inquiries: Address all backorders & delivery inquiries within the allotted time, ensuring delivery dates are provided within 24 hours.
Logistics: Obtaining Spot Freight Quotes, Analysis of Freight rates with existing forwarders, establishing new freight lanes
Suppliers: Continually working to develop & nurture supplier & freight forwarder relationships.
Freight Forwarders: Coordinate with brokers & freight forwarders to ensure speedy arrival of inbound shipments.
Problem Resolution: Liaise with Customer Service and Sales Administration teams to assist with resolution to customer problems.
Purchase Orders: Issuing PO`s, entering confirmations, posting in transit, receiving & releasing (as required), entering changes and cancellations. Following up with suppliers regarding updates and/or improvements.
Reporting and Analysis: Reviewing all daily reports and following through on any issues requiring attention in a timely manner. Preparing daily/weekly/monthly reports as required. Develop and maintain Inventory Procedures and Policies.
Customs: Prepare manual customs documentation for export and import.
Receiving: Coordinating with the Warehouse to address problems & discrepancies with shipments
Returns to Mills: Prepare debit notes with applicable support documentation and submit for credit to supplier for damaged goods and quality claims.
Successful Candidate Must Have the Following Skills:
Personal Skills and Abilities: Positive and confident professional demeanour; strong communications skills, both written & verbal; ability to multi-task in a well-organized manner; impeccable attention to detail; ability to prioritize and adapt to changing requirements; personable with an ability to form relationships and encourage cooperation without having the authority over such. Effective problem solving and decision-making skills
Functional Experience, Skills and Abilities: 1-2 years experience in inventory, purchasing or related field; logistics etc., an asset, but not required. Must be fluent in Outlook, Excel and Word. Experience in Crystal & AS400 an asset, but not required.
Professional and Academic Credentials: Post-secondary education (College or University Degree) in Business or related field Logistics, etc.
