Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse and logistics operations within our wallboard production plant. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will play a key role in driving safe, efficient, and reliable material flow while leading a high-performing warehouse team.
This role is ideal for a practical leader with strong LEAN Manufacturing knowledge who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and working alongside their team to meet daily operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, schedule, and support warehouse personnel to meet shipping targets
- Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including raw materials and finished goods
- Implement and maintain LEAN tools (5S, standard work, continuous improvement) to reduce picking time, errors, and downtime
- Monitor inventory accuracy, storage practices, and material handling processes
- Ensure safe operation of forklifts and material-handling equipment and enforce safety policies
- Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to support plant operations
- Track KPIs related to productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and safety
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and training to warehouse staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations within a manufacturing environment
- Supervisory or team-lead experience required
- Strong understanding of LEAN Manufacturing principles and warehouse optimization
- Experience working in an industrial or production setting (wallboard, construction materials, or similar preferred)
- Forklift certification or experience operating material-handling equipment
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
