Lamont Boarding Kennels is currently looking to fill an EVENING kennel attendant position for weekends only. Typically shifts run 2pm-8/9pm. Weekend shifts can be less hours if needed! Shifts will be Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evenings.

As a Kennel Attendant, you will be essential in providing high-quality care and support for animals in our facility. Reporting to the Kennel Manager, your core responsibilities will include ensuring the cleanliness of the kennels, feeding, and exercising the animals, while delivering outstanding customer service to pet owners. Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting pet owners and addressing their inquiries.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the kennel environment by regularly cleaning and sanitizing animal areas.
- Assist in the feeding, grooming, and exercising of animals, ensuring their well-being.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, such as moving bags of food and cleaning supplies.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with pet owners and ensure their satisfaction.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks, including handling animals and cleaning facilities.
- Previous experience working with animals or in a kennel environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of animal care and handling practices is a plus.
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

- Lamont, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
