ABOUT LAKERIDGE HEALTH RESEARCH:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Director of Research, you will play an integral role in supporting the Research Program. Using your superior organizational skills, you will coordinate the daily administrative aspects of the Director as well as support within the department.
Duties may include: telephone reception; data entry; booking meeting rooms and catering; scheduling and coordinate meetings, webinars and/or events; preparing agendas and documents for meetings; minute taking; formatting, reviewing, and sending out communications; filing; ordering supplies; processing invoices and expense reports; maintaining contact lists; managing databases and updating OASIS; assisting with payroll functions; managing the schedule of the Director; and other related duties as assigned.
You will be required to liaise with staff and leaders across the organization, external stakeholders, and privileged staff.
Some travel may be required to support across multiple sites.
QUALIFICATOINS:
- Graduate of an Executive Office Administration Diploma program or significant and advanced related experience, preferably in a healthcare environment;
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Administrative Assistant/Secretarial role;
- Highly developed proficiency and demonstrated competence of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams (tested);
- Superior keyboarding skills 60 WPM
- Outstanding attention to detail and results orientated;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (tested);
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team;
- Proficiency transcribing and composing minutes with the ability to write clear, concise, and accurate minutes;
- Proven ability to assess inquiries/problems and to exercise good judgement in responding to and/or referring the inquiry to a more appropriate individual;
- Proven adherence to strict confidentiality;
- Demonstrated excellence in effectively organizing and prioritizing work assignments in a fast-pace office environment and meeting short timelines;
- Ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner;
- Ability to collate information and perform internet research;
- Previous experience working in regulated drug trials or supporting a research lab is also an asset
- Must have satisfactory performance record;
