As the Process EIT for Horizon Major Projects, you will have the opportunity to ensure the success of Horizon Oil Sands Projects by applying your expertise to provide engineering support within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment

Key Accountabilities:
- Provide technical and engineering support for projects. These activities include:
- Heat and mass balance & simulation;
- Hydraulic calculations for slurry and non-slurry services;
- Mechanical equipment sizing;
- Pressure Relief system calculations;
- P&ID review, design and development;
- Process Hazard Analysis support
- Familiarity with process simulation software (HYSYS, Unisim) is an asset
What You Bring to the Role:
- 1+ year of related industry experience as Process, Production or Plant Engineer, is an asset
- BSc or MSc degree in Chemical Engineering
- Previous exposure within the Oil Sand industry as student is an asset
- Eligibility for registration as a professional engineer with APEGA, after completion of EIT program
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to a broad audience
