Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and providing excellent food service to our guests. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment where attention to detail and food handling expertise are essential.
Duties
- Prepare and cook fried foods according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including fry stations
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene
- Serve food promptly and accurately to customers or servers
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low
- Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding food handling, safety, and sanitation
Experience
- Previous kitchen or fry cook experience preferred (but we're willing to train the right person!)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-heat environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food handler's certification Preffered
- Follow the instructions and directions of the management on duty
Schedule
- Part-time: 20 hours per week
- Shifts available: Wednesday - Sunday, Supper rushes
- Must be available for 5 shifts per week
