Central Saskatchewan Co-op is hiring a Full-Time Supervisor for our Deli Department at our Food Store in Humboldt, SK.
What you’ll do:
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here." This will be achieved by:
- Supervising and delegating employee’s workflow and duties while ensuring all staff are following safety standards as well as Central Sask. Co-op's policies and procedures.
- Providing ongoing and frequent communication and coaching.
- Onboarding and training new staff.
- Assisting with interviews, as needed.
- General Deli duties as required - housekeeping, stocking, receiving, ordering, opening, closing, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
- You have prior supervisory experience (considered an asset).
- You have above average communication skills and computer skills.
- You have retail experience in the areas of customer service and merchandising.
- Have knowledge of retail deli operations and willing to expand knowledge in this area.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You are willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays and weekends.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
You are physically able to do heavy lifting of 50lbs, climb ladders and kneel.
