JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director, Food & Beverage, the Cedars Restaurant Manager leads the day-to-day operation of Cedars Restaurant and Lounge, a high-volume, full-service restaurant serving resort guests and the local community, with seating for approximately 330 guests across the restaurant, lounge, and seasonal patio.
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while overseeing Team Member performance and development, operational standards, financial performance, and the overall success of the restaurant.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead daily restaurant, lounge, bar, and seasonal patio operations.
- Lead, coach, schedule, and develop front-of-house supervisors and Team Members.
- Maintain exceptional standards for guest service, cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
- Oversee sales, labour costs, budgets, inventory, and profitability to support established financial targets.
- Partner with the Director, Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, and culinary team to ensure consistent and efficient service.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and Team Member development.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, responsible liquor service, workplace safety, and applicable regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, revenue, and the guest experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience; General Manager experience is considered a strong asset.
- Experience leading a high-volume, full-service restaurant operation.
- Strong knowledge of front-of-house, bar, and lounge operations.
- Proven leadership and team-development skills.
- Experience managing labour, budgets, inventory, costs, and profitability.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, responsible alcohol service, and workplace safety requirements.
- WSET certification is considered an asset.
