We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join our team to support 2-3 Agile product teams to achieve their goals and help leadership to coordinate across the family.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship : You will report to Senior Manager, Scrum.
You will be a Senior Scrum Master for 2 to 3 teams, ensuring sprint planning and task definition, sprint execution, impediment removal and tracking, sprint review, backlog refinement and retrospectives that occur within the teams.
Collaborate with the Product Owner, and Tech Lead to ensure the needs of the team are adequately addressed, and obstacles in the team's path are cleared (e.g. dependencies, risks, impediments, and improvements).
Shield the team from external changes to maintain the focus on the sprint goal. Coordinate interactions with other teams.
Track team's performance metrics and progress towards sprint goals.
Navigate, communicate, and decipher trends using team metrics and progress towards team's goals and OKRs.
Support Product Owner, and Tech Lead in defining, review and communication of the shared team's vision, and OKRs.
Partner with Product Owner, and Tech Lead to ensure team's psychological safety and foster a culture of learning, and continuous improvement within the team. Encourage adaptive and iterative process.
Partner with Product Owner, and Tech Lead to support team's lift off.
Work with program leadership and other partners to help ensure strategy agreement. Provide support to program leadership to ensure of vision, roadmap, priorities, and OKRs.
You will work with program leadership to track and communicate goals, risks, dependencies, and milestones. Assist tracking execution and obtain metrics that help program team make data-driven decision.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP or other related certifications.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
4+ years of relevant work experience as a Scrum Master.
3+ years Agile methodology experience in a large enterprise environment.
3+ years of experience with JIRA, Confluence, Miro, and similar tools.
Experience with SAFe, LeSS, or similar frameworks
