Job Description Summary
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a proofreader to analyze outsourced dictation. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the key focus of this position is to review content to detect typographical and grammatical errors. The expectation is that the proofreader will be proficient in proofreading materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting and consistency.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that provides quality service to internal and external clients. They will display excellent customer service skills and will be a key contributor to the success of the office by providing support to all team members.

Qualifications & Experience
Familiarity or previous insurance claims experience will be a definite asset
Previously demonstrated ability to execute a high attention to detail
Demonstrates the ability to manage changing priorities and proven organizational skills
Demonstrates behaviours showing initiative and follow-up skills
Demonstrates the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Demonstrates professionalism and a strong work ethic
Proven ability to contribute to and work well within a team environment
Intermediate experience with Word and Excel is required
All other computer applications – must have the aptitude and ability to learn as required
The proofreader needs to be physically able to work in a regular office environment. Claimspro has a flexible working environment leveraging technology.
Physically it is expected that the successful candidate will be able to:
Sit at a workstation with the ability to alternate positions as required.
Strong computer usage/keyboarding – 70-80% of time.
Sit or stand for 80% of day, 20% of day varied sit, stand and walk.
Telephone usage – average, as required.
