Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Mill Production Worker for afternoon shifts at our feed mill in New Hamburg.
The hours for this role are:
Monday - Thursday 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm and Friday 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm with the flexibility to work longer hours and the occasional Saturday and Statutory holiday based on production. Shift premium of $2.50 per hour for all hours after 6:00 pm.
This role is vital in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality feed products that support local farmers and our company's mission.
Responsibilities
- Complete hand adds following the Progressor queue
- Record medications in the drug log
- Follow HACCP protocols
- Maintain levels and fill Micro / Tote bins
- Fill 25kg bags using the bag filler, sewing machine and auto stacker
- Shrink wrap skids and load onto bag truck or store in warehouse
- Provide general assistance to the Pellet Mill Operators and provide coverage
- Keep work area and mill clean and tidy
