We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during overnight hours, handling guest check-ins and check-outs, reconciling accounts, and providing exceptional guest services. Duties
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude
- Reconcile daily financial transactions, including cash, credit card, and billing accounts
- Prepare detailed reports of daily financial activities and operational issues for management review
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with tact and professionalism
- Maintain accurate records using multi-line phone systems and front desk software
- Ensure the safety and security of guests by monitoring the premises during overnight hours
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and updating guest information
- Provide guest services including concierge assistance, local recommendations, and hospitality support
- Uphold hotel policies and standards to ensure a welcoming environment for all guests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality is preferred
- Strong phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills are essential
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and guest management software is a plus
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for representing the hotel brand
- Flexibility to work overnight hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
