Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent to lead and oversee the daily operations of a small apartment building . In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing contractors ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive environment. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, coordinate and uphold high standards of quality and safety across all activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine work and living at the same place .

Responsibilities
- maintaining the property and grounds
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities with qualified contractors
- Manage project management tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards by conducting regular inspections and enforcing safety protocols .
- Coordinate with property manager, and head office staff
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, project progress, safety incidents, and equipment records
Experience
- Proven management experience in building management
- Strong communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of maintenance practices including mechanical systems, electrical HVAC systems, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with equipment for maintaining grounds
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate teams and liaise with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to operations and experience implementing safety programs.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise
