Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Labourers to join our concrete construction team. This role involves supporting various phases of concrete projects, including formwork, finishing, and site preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn and contribute to high-quality construction outcomes. At least 3 years of experience in concrete work. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in multiple areas of concrete and general construction work.
Duties
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, and placement to ensure structural integrity
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to follow project specifications
- Perform demolition, restoration on construction sites
- Handle heavy lifting and material movement to maintain workflow efficiency
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Support concrete finishing activities such as smoothing surfaces and applying textures
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools
- Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, and finishing techniques
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently
- Construction experience across various trades is highly desirable
