Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at our Nepean Aquatic Centre. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer support and ensuring a smooth operation at the front desk.
If you have past experience working with children and/or swimming, that would be an added asset. Bilingual is also preferred as well as staff who have a current first aid certificate.
Work Hours:
This position is close to full-time and requires the exact below hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 2:00 - 8:30 pm
- Saturdays: 8:00 - 1:00 pm
We require the successful candidate to start the last week of August.
Duties
- Greet clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Check swimmers in for lessons and provide welcome tours for first-time clients
- Answer client questions as possible or pass questions along to management
- Ensure facility stays clean, organized, and to health standards
- Reply too client emails and answer phone calls
- Ensure management is kept up to date will all facility happenings
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer support role is preferred
- Ability to type efficiently and manage clerical tasks with attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and staff.
- Must be organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Preference will be given to applicants who are bilingual and have their first aid certification.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
