Your Opportunity:
Reporting to Manager IT - Provincial Workforce Systems, the ServiceNow Developer – IT Analyst II is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the ServiceNow to support various business processes within the organization. The ServiceNow Developer works closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and configure ServiceNow to meet those needs. This role also involves troubleshooting issues, improving system performance, and ensuring data integrity. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document system requirements. Translate business needs into technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform Customize and configure ServiceNow to meet specific business processes, workflows, and user requirements. This includes creating forms, fields, workflows, and integrations Manage data and maintain data integrity within the ServiceNow system. Perform data imports, exports, and audits as needed Collaborate with business and other IT teams to integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data exchange Work with business teams to identify opportunities for automation and create automated workflows and processes within ServiceNow to streamline tasks and improve productivity Provide support to end-users, addressing issues, and troubleshooting problems related to the ServiceNow platform. Prepare training material if required on new features and functionalities Troubleshoot and resolve any assigned ServiceNow incident. Follow AHS change management processes to implement any change requests Participate in initiatives for platform upgrades and patches. Test new features and functionality before implementing them Prepare all required documentation for any configurations and customizations following best practices

As an IT Analyst II, you will provide technical support related to information technology applications either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions. You will ensure reliable operations of information systems, resolve complex technical problems, find solutions to customer needs, and lead projects and program initiatives. You will be responsible for more advanced application, telecom or technology support duties. You will investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex problems that have typically been escalated several levels before assignment to this position, and will translate business requirements into technical requirements for a solution and recommend a potential approach to the vendor. You will analyse the solution provided to ensure that it fits both technical requirements and business needs. You will also spend time on project or initiative leadership and delivery.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience working directly in ServiceNow as a Developer A University Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer) are a plus Proficiency in ServiceNow administration and development Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with stakeholders Working knowledge of designing, maintaining, and optimizing HRSD applications on the ServiceNow platform Proficient in configuring and Managing HR criteria, document templates, and HR Profiles Experience in defining and managing HR Services, Categories, HR Service Catalogs, Catalog items, and Lifecycle Events Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL best practices
