Executive Assistant to Managing Director
Duo Concepts Limited is a growing Design & Build company based in Richmond, BC, with our own furniture brand and showroom. We specialize in residential design, construction, and multifunctional furniture solutions, providing clients with a complete service experience from design to home furnishing.
We are looking for a professional, organized, and proactive Executive Assistant to the General Manager to support daily operations, administration, customer service, and sales coordination.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic small business environment, is a fast learner, and is willing to grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager with daily administrative and operational tasks
- Prepare quotations, invoices, contracts, and related documents
- Follow up with customers, orders, and project-related matters
- Welcome and assist walk-in customers in the showroom
- Support customer inquiries, product introductions, and sales follow-ups
- Maintain customer records, inventory records, and product information
- Assist with workflow organization and process improvement
- Support management with various day-to-day coordination tasks
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin, spoken and written
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and reliable
- Strong follow-through and ability to complete tasks independently
- Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to learn
- Comfortable working in a small team and fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and basic office software
- Professional customer service attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in administration, customer service, retail, sales, or operations coordination
- Experience in furniture, interior design, construction, home improvement, or showroom-related industries is an asset
- Experience working in a small business or startup environment is preferred
