Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Service Technician (310S) to join our reputable dealership team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, and proficiency with various tools and schematics. Duties
- Perform comprehensive automotive repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring all work meets dealership standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to diagnose issues and execute repairs effectively.
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic data to identify problems accurately.
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed for parts replacement or assembly tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Complete vehicle inspections, troubleshoot mechanical systems, and perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tire rotations.
- Assist in the assembly or disassembly of vehicle components during repair procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate findings clearly to customers when necessary.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred.
- 310S License Mandatory
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately.
- Experience with automotive diagnostics, maintenance procedures, and repair techniques.
- Capable of heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes is a plus.
- Valid mechanic license or certification (such as ASE certification) is desirable but not mandatory.
