We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team! As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring every dish meets our high standards of excellence and food safety.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Assist with meal prep by chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including cooking stations and equipment.
- Follow proper food handling techniques to ensure food safety standards are upheld.
- Work with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service, especially during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations in the kitchen at all times.
- Cleaning and maintaing the equipment and the workplace
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or food service setting.
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in cooking.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills and effective communication with kitchen staff.
- A passion for cooking and eagerness to learn new culinary skills.
