Responsible for set-up lines and equipment for daily operations as per production schedule.
Complete changeovers between products to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot production, equipment and quality problems as quickly as possible to reduce lost production time and product waste and update the Supervisor accordingly.
Complete daily attendance records for all full-time employees and temporary workers.
Ensure PDC ’ s Health and Safety policies are followed and report any violations or unsafe acts to the Production Supervisor. As well, identify and participate in the corrective action of any unsafe equipment and or workplace hazards
Ensure daily adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s). Must be enforced throughout the daily production.
Follow all production Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Product Standards, and instructions for the product being produced.
Engage full time employees and temporary workers within the workplace by providing effective training and communication regarding GMPs, H&S and necessary technical skills relevant to the production line.
Identify line performance improvement opportunities, participates in the elaboration and implementation of production processes on the line.
Responsible for monitoring the daily production reports i.e., production yields and material usages to ensure accurate data is recorded and given to the Production Supervisor at the end of every shift.
Responsible for daily RedZone activities including entering information with regards to start- ups, downtime, and Quality Assurance checks. As well, attend daily huddle meetings.

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 4-6 years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership role preferably in the food, pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry
Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and Health and Safety is preferred.
Good planning, organization and time management skills
Demonstrates a team oriented mindset
Results oriented, sense of responsibility and good judgment
Demonstrates a high degree of autonomy, initiative and resourcefulness
Good communicator, motivator with a positive attitude
Proficient with computer applications
Good verbal and written communication skills
