Duties and Responsibilities
● Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to every shift while working as part of a cohesive team.
● Demonstrate strong knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and flavour profiles.
● Maintain proper inventory levels by monitoring and restocking supplies as needed.
● Prepare food accurately and consistently according to restaurant specifications and Wafflato standards.
● Complete prep and production sheets daily, monitoring quantities to reduce waste.
● Follow all recipes and plating standards with 100% adherence.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area in line with food safety and operational guidelines.
● Support kitchen operations with a service-minded attitude and a desire to grow.
Job Requirements
● Minimum of two years of kitchen experience in a full-service restaurant.
● Previous experience with breakfast service is an asset.
● Food Safety and WHMIS certification are required.
● Fluent in both written and verbal English.
● Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including standing, bending, and moving.
● Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Job Types: Part-time, Internship / Co-op
Pay: $15.00-$21.47 per hour
