Atiya’s Fresh Farm is looking for a reliable and hardworking Dairy & Frozen Merchandiser to join our grocery store team.
Job Title: Dairy & Frozen Merchandiser
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Flexible availability, including weekends
Job Responsibilities
* Stock and organize dairy and frozen products.
* Keep shelves, coolers, and freezers fully stocked and well organized.
* Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation procedures.
* Check expiry dates regularly and remove expired or damaged products.
* Monitor products approaching expiry to help reduce waste and shrinkage.
* Receive and organize incoming dairy and frozen shipments.
* Verify products against invoices and report discrepancies.
* Maintain clean and attractive shelves, coolers, freezers, and displays.
* Ensure promotional items and sale prices are properly displayed.
* Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to the department manager.
* Assist with regular inventory counts.
* Maintain proper organization of the backroom and freezer areas.
* Follow food safety, cleanliness, and store procedures.
* Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
* Report equipment, freezer, temperature, or product issues to management.
* Assist other departments when required.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous grocery, retail, or merchandising experience is an asset.
* Strong attention to detail, especially with expiry dates.
* Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environments.
* Ability to lift and move boxes and merchandise.
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
* Good organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Weekend availability is required.
