We are actively recruiting on behalf of a private employer for a Casual/Back Up Personal Support Worker to assist a female senior with Dementia with all activities of daily living/personal care.
The ideal candidate will be honest, reliable, punctual and compassionate. They will also be comfortable taking and following directions.
Location:
Shifts and Hours:
- Casual/Back Up
- Sunday 8:00am to 1:00pm and 4:00pm to 7:00pm
- Availability for back up during the week is also desirable
Compensation
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Personal care such as showering/bathing, grooming, personal hygiene, toileting and peri-care
- Meal preparation, feeding assistance
- Medication administration
- Physical transfers, guided locomotion with a walker
- Light housekeeping duties and laundry
Qualifications:
- Training provided
- Must be able to lift 115lbs
- New HCA Graduates welcome
- Dementia care experience preferred
- Valid Driver's License preferred
- Must have reliable transportation to work
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
