Duties
- Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately
- Support food preparation tasks such as setting up stations, garnishing dishes, and organizing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing utensils and equipment
- Handle food safety procedures by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation guidelines
- Support cashiering duties by assisting with cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS when needed
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving, food preparation, and cleaning routines
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in hotel or barista roles can be advantageous but is not mandatory
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude
