Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with basic math skills
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar and dining areas before and after shifts
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Engage with guests to create a hospitable environment that encourages repeat visits
- Follow all food safety regulations and health department guidelines
Skills
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for cashiering and cash handling tasks
- Effective serving skills with attention to detail in order accuracy and presentation
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment
