Human Resources Administrative Assistant

Eagle Canada is seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our team.
The primary responsibility of this position is coordinating employee travel and accommodations for field operations, while also providing administrative support to the Human Resources department.
This is a seasonal position, with the majority of work taking place between October and April. Workload varies throughout the season based on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate employee travel, including booking flights, hotels, and employee accommodations.
- Coordinate employee per diem requirements.
- Assist Human Resources with obtaining employee certifications, online orientations, and other required training.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide administrative support throughout the employment lifecycle.
- Maintain the confidentiality of employee and company information at all times.
- Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources and Operations teams.
Seasonal Work Schedule
This position follows the seasonal nature of our operations. Typical scheduling includes:
- October: Regular Monday to Friday schedule (approximately 8-hour days).
- November: Regular schedule with occasional overtime and weekend work as operational demands increase.
- December & January: Peak operating season with additional hours and weekend work likely.
- February: Workload for this position typically decreases. Employees may choose to work reduced office hours or, if interested, assist with field administration to receive additional hours and increased compensation.
- March: Return to a regular Monday to Friday schedule.
Schedules may vary based on operational requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience is preferred.
- Experience coordinating travel, accommodations, or logistics is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism under pressure.
- Ability to remain organized, adaptable, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and comfortable operating a company pickup truck for occasional errands or work-related travel.

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
