Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Semi Truck Driver (team) to join our logistics team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks in a team environment to ensure timely and safe delivery of freight across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting. A background in commercial driving, forklift operation, and automotive repair is highly desirable to support efficient transportation and maintenance tasks.
Duties
- Safely operate semi-trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight over long distances or local routes
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate loading, unloading, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Assist with forklift operation for loading and unloading cargo when necessary
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to maintain vehicle performance
- Manage freight documentation, including manifests and delivery paperwork
- Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any issues encountered
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, or related fields
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery as needed
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with others
- Physical ability to load/unload freight, lift heavy objects, and perform inspections
- Flexibility to work on a schedule that may include long hours or overnight trips as required
Pay: $6,000.00-$12,000.00 per month
