We're looking for compassionate, dependable Health Care Aides who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors throughout Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and the surrounding communities.
As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with your clients while providing personalized, one-on-one care in the comfort of their own homes.

Schedule & Availability
We are currently hiring caregivers who can provide consistent availability.
Typical shifts fall between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM, although occasional shifts may begin slightly earlier or end slightly later based on client needs.
Applicants must be available to work the following rotating schedule:
Week 1: Wednesday through Sunday
Week 2: Monday through Friday
While we strive to accommodate individual availability whenever possible, applicants should be able to commit to this rotating schedule to help ensure consistency of care for our clients.
What You'll Do
Every client is unique, but responsibilities may include:
- Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction.
- Assisting with personal care while promoting dignity, independence, and choice.
- Supporting mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
- Providing medication assistance within the Health Care Aide scope of practice.
- Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with hydration.
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
- Grocery shopping, errands, and community outings as required.
- Escorting clients to appointments when required.
- Monitoring for changes in a client's health or wellbeing and communicating concerns promptly.
- Completing accurate and timely documentation.
- Working independently while exercising sound judgment, professionalism, and compassion.
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Health Care Aide Certificate.
- Current CLHA registration in good standing.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check.
- Valid Alberta driver's licence.
- Reliable vehicle to travel between client homes.
Experience & Skills
The successful applicant will have:
- Minimum 2 years of Health Care Aide experience preferred.
- Experience providing care to seniors in a home care, supportive living, or long-term care setting.
- Strong understanding of person-centred care.
- Excellent observation and critical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently with confidence and sound judgment.
- The ability to adapt to each client's unique routines, preferences, and goals.
