Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Structural Technologist to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing precise structural designs, creating detailed schematics, and producing accurate drafting documentation for a variety of construction and infrastructure projects. Your expertise will support project teams from conceptualization through to construction, ensuring structural integrity, compliance with standards, and seamless collaboration across disciplines. Duties
- Develop detailed structural drawings, schematics, and CAD models using industry-standard software such as Revit, AutoCAD.
- Prepare accurate 2D drafting and 3D modeling to support design development and construction documentation.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to review project requirements and ensure design accuracy.
- Assist in reviewing construction plans for compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Support the creation of construction documents, including specifications and detailed drawings for fabrication or assembly.
- Contribute to project meetings by providing technical insights and updates on drafting progress or design modifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit.
- Strong understanding of structural drafting principles and schematic development.
- Demonstrated ability to produce precise 2D drawings and 3D models for structural applications.
- Familiarity with construction processes and experience working on infrastructure or building projects.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices related to structural design.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Additional skills such as 2D animation or experience with construction site supervision are considered assets.

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
