Location: StudentScholars Education Centre, Markham (14th Avenue & Warden)
Schedule: Flexible shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday
Program Dates: July 7 through August 28
Do you enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact this summer?
We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and caring volunteers to support our teachers during our Summer Camp program.
Please Note: This is an unpaid volunteer position.
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Support students with activities in Math, Language Arts, Art, Robotics, and Public Speaking
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and student supervision
- Help supervise children during outdoor play and activities
- Encourage student participation and help create a positive learning environment
- Assist with setting up classrooms and preparing learning materials
- Help tidy and clean classrooms, learning materials, and activity spaces throughout the day and at the end of camp
Who Can Apply?
- Individuals who enjoy working with children and supporting learning
- Friendly, patient, dependable, and enthusiastic volunteers
- No previous experience is required—training and guidance will be provided
- A valid Vulnerable Sector Check is required before volunteering (or must be obtained prior to starting)
Volunteer Hours
Flexible half-day and full-day volunteer opportunities are available between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, based on your availability.
