Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills. The Server will play a vital role in delivering memorable dining experiences while supporting the overall operations of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including tables, utensils, and service stations
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and preparation
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Basic math skills for cashiering and billing purposes
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required
- A positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and flexibility to work various shifts as needed
Pay: $17.20-$28.51 per hour
