Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Ranch Hand to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on sustainable farming practices and livestock management.
Responsibilities
- Moving cattle via horseback.
- Calving.
- Monitor animal health – Observe, detect, and treat diseases, injuries, and health problems.
- Maintain fences and ranch infrastructure.
- Support planting, harvesting, or other horticultural activities as needed.
- Assist in implementing sustainable ranching practices and land management.
Experience
- Previous work experience of a minimum of 1 year.
- Horsmanship.
- Ability to shoe horses is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery and equipment.
- Strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with livestock behaviour and handling techniques.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
