Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in logistics, freight consolidation, or warehouse operations, and be comfortable with both physical tasks and equipment handling. This role is essential in supporting the efficiency, safety, and accuracy of our warehouse functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for dispatch
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (must have valid forklift certification)
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse
- Perform inventory counts and update stock records
- Support general warehouse and logistics operations as required
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or freight forwarding operations preferred
- Forklift license/certification required
- Able to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Flexible and reliable work ethic
