DUTIES
Reporting to the Office Manager, the International Education Customer Service Representative, will be
responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support at the Notre Dame
Campus. Responsibilities include responding to a large volume of inquiries by e-mail, telephone, walk-in
traffic and social media to assist applicants, students and agents in meeting their goals. The incumbent
supports Admissions staff with international application processing. The position requires an individual
who is motivated, organized, flexible, and able to multi-task and to prioritize workload in a fast-paced
environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience providing reception and customer service in person, over the telephone and via email
  • Experience working effectively within a diverse environment and sensitivity to cultural and language
differences
  • Knowledge and experience with student information systems
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Effective organizational and multi-tasking skills with an ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively with staff, students and the public, with professionalism and maintaining
confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team setting
  • Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint,

ASSETS
  • Experience with enrollment processes including providing information to prospective international
students and education agents, relating to RRC programming and international student admission
requirements

  • Certificate/Degree from a post-secondary institution in Office Administration or Business
  • Experience working with confidential records and knowledge of FIPPA
  • Knowledge of and experience with RRC policies, procedures and RRC Education Programs
  • Fluent in other languages such as Vietnamese, Portuguese, Spanish, Hindi, Cantonese and/or
Mandarin - both verbal and written

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
