Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance on plumbing infrastructure.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble, modify, or repair plumbing components with precision.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate project completion.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving carpentry, HVAC systems, or construction tasks related to plumbing.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for compliance and quality assurance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance within commercial or residential environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in carpentry, HVAC systems, and construction processes.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environments requiring physical endurance.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to plumbing work including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
