Job Description:
3M is seeking a Warehouse Operator for its Milton team, located at 2995 Peddie Road | Milton, ON L9T 0K1. The successful candidate will make an impact by loading, unloading, sorting and moving products.
Main Responsibilities:
Shipping/Receiving and order picking ensuring both quantity and lot # accuracy
Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
Maintain accurate raw material warehousing
Physical & system processing of transfers from raw materials warehouse to manufacturing and vice versa
Record and report all non-conformances
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Perform Cycle Counting
Accurate lot control through proper FIFO of materials
Safe operation of material handling equipment i.e. , pallet trucks, shrink wrapper etc.
To set you up for success in this role from Day 1, 3M requires (at minimum) the following qualifications
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Proficiency with MS-Office and associated software for data entry, inventory tracking, spreadsheets, electronic mail, etc.
JIT, FIFO knowledge
Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
