Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. This role involves working closely with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the well-being and independence of clients through attentive caregiving and personalized care services.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care tailored to individual needs, ensuring comfort and safety
- Support with medication administration following prescribed guidelines
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with transfers, heavy lifting, or mobility aids to ensure safe movement
- Support clients with dementia, hospice, or other specialized care requirements
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, home care, or hospice care is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Certification in medication administration or nursing is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if required
- Valid driver’s license may be preferred for certain roles but is not mandatory for all positions
Qualification
- PCW or CCA certificate (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Vulnerable Sector Check / Criminal Record Check
- Reliable transportation (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $18.59-$22.34 per hour
